What is the difference between margin and markup?
Margin is profit as a share of the selling price. Markup is profit as a share of the cost. Selling for £20 something that cost £12 is a 40% margin but a 66.67% markup.
How do I find the price before a discount?
Use Original value before a % change with a minus figure, for example −20 for 20% off.
